In this study, the insecticidal activity of native diatomaceous earth (DE) Turco004 was tested against pupae Potato tuber moth, [Phthorimaea operculella (Zeller) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae)] in laboratory conditions. bioassays were used dust formulation and applied four concentrations (2.5, 5, 10 20g/m2) DE. Pupa weights number adults emerging from recorded after 24, 48, 72, 96, 120, 144 168 hours exposure. It concluded that are significantly affected depending on exposure time. addition, pupal eclosion prevented, no adult emergency observed at all concentration applied. The data obtained revealed diatom soil may have a potential control P. doses.
